Incumbent President Iliana Yotova came first in the October 25 first round but well short of a majority, on record-low turnout. She now faces banker and former caretaker prime minister Andrey Gyurov in a runoff on November 1. The campaign has centred on the war in Ukraine and the economy. The winner in the CIK's official results settles this. Resolves on the winner declared in the official results of Bulgaria's Central Election Commission (CIK) for the November 1, 2026 runoff.
